Seed & Season exists to make planning a growing season feel less complicated. The seed starting calculator is free, runs in your browser, and requires no account.

Our calendar uses the frost date you enter and a crop-specific range of weeks. It does not infer a local frost date from your hardiness zone or promise a frost-free day. Crop defaults are planning estimates; packet instructions, actual soil conditions, and local extension advice take priority. Indoor dates are counted backward from the estimated transplant date.

The journal includes tutorials, project planning, troubleshooting, and equipment selection guides. Buying guides explain specifications and tradeoffs. We do not publish invented product testing, customer counts, reviews, or endorsements.

You can save your work on this device and download a portable backup. Browser storage can be cleared, so keep copies of projects you care about. All current tool features and exports are free.
